The Seventh-dayAdventist educational system includes elementary and high schools, colleges and universities in countries around the globe. Are you familiar with the unique mission of Seventh-day Adventist Christian education? 35,000 students attending Seventh-day Adventist schoools in grades 3-9 & 11 were studied to measure the academic effectiveness of Adventist schools. This study is referred to as "Cognitive Genesis." The study had a two-fold purpose: to determine how our stduents are doing academically when compared to national norms and to find out what factors could be related to their achievement levels.
